Feature Films Netherlands, - "John Lennon’s Hair”, in development in association with Steve Walsh Productions Ltd., London.
Written by Nicola Greer and Carl Peter Hough
A comedy drama based on the life of Liverpool hairdresser Penny Lane
Take a cynical single-minded girl with a dream,
One single-mother-of-three-with-another-on-the-way sister,
Another sister with a shoe fetish and an insatiable libido,
Their industrious psychic mother,
Two near-useless crooks,
A gay stylist (makes a change),
A man not-to-be-messed-with,
And a charming bus mysterious barman.
Put them in Liverpool,
With a yellow submarine, a Beatles tour bus, and a taxi,
Add a priest who gambles and Tom Jones – that’s the real Tom Jones.
Then find a shoebox full of money. ..
